Ministers must trust and wait ONLY on God in all things because, unlike our human relationships, which are prone to speaking lies, are unfaithful and deceitful, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should [change his mind]”. (Numbers 23:19; Hebrews 6:18). But “[mankind] speak vanity everyone with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak”. (Psalm 12:2; Jeremiah 9:4-5).
Therefore, servants of God should trust and put their confidences in God and rely on him rather than in mankind in whom there is no help (Psalm 118:8-9 &146:3; Micah 7:5,6)
God is faithful; when he says something, he will do it and every good and perfect gift comes from Him. (Lamentation 3:22-23; James 1:17).
