Since God is a Spirit, God’s children require a lively spiritual personality in order to overcome the fleshly tendencies, and to engage fully with Him in “spirit and in truth”; and to regain His trust. “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace” (Romans 8:6). God by his righteousness has therefore prepared redemption that is in Jesus Christ by faith unto all them that believe; to obtain deliverance from sin and spiritual death. (Romans 3:21-25).
Christ is the lamb which takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29).”For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living” (Roman’s 14:9). He is the “Living One” who was dead but now is alive forever and holds the keys of death and hell. (Revelation 1:18). Therefore “if [you] shalt confess with [your] mouth, the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in [your] heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, [you] shalt be saved”. (Romans 10:9). “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:8-10; John 17:8).
Let us now examine how one may gain the trust of God for spiritual development through faithfulness, productiveness, and spiritual maturity and patience:
