INTRODUCTION
Last week the message was on character building. We looked at the traits that God would require to build trustworthiness in us that may enhance our physical development to possess material needs.
This message continues to examine the character building in context of personal spiritual development, specifically, to enhance one’s spirit over the flesh for spiritual needs. It introduces the context of spiritual death with examples of fleshly traits that manifests death, and explains the role of Jesus Christ as the redeemer from spiritual death. It then illustrates trustworthy traits for the development of spiritual personality including faithfulness in God’s salvation, productiveness in spiritual fruits, personal spiritual maturity, and overcoming conflict with patience.
