“The Lord our God is one Lord” Almighty; “who liveth forever and ever”, the “King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God”! He is the King of Heaven and earth, having the power and the Glory forever and ever Amen (Revelation 4:8-11; 1 Timothy 1:17; Matthew 6:10; 13; Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29).
“Who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?” None can be compared, likened, or equal to Him (Psalm 89:6; Isaiah 40:18,25). In this context, we cannot compare God among earthly kings and there is no king in heaven beside HIM (Psalm 73:25). But by rejecting God as the physical and Spiritual King for worldly kings, nations today (like the children of Israel), compare God to the earthly kings in whom there is no help (Psalm 118:8-9; 146:3).
Yet God had purposed that in the days of the worldly kings, He shall “set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever”(Daniel 2:44).
God manifest this purpose in His son Jesus, with “dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed” (Daniel 7:14)
