PRECIOUS TRIALS OF FAITH (VII): ‘Enhancing Faith In Trials’

When faced with faith trials and persecution there is a tendency for one to be angry and vengeful. But “Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity”. (Psalm 37:1; Matthew 5:44).  Instead, “trust in the Lord, and do good.

Also make the Lord your delight, commit your ways unto him and trust also and rest in him, and wait patiently. He will give you your heart desires and bring them to pass. “Cease from anger and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil”. (Psalm 37:3-8).

Brethren, when faced with faith trials, be always of the mind that ny are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord [delivers] him out of them all”. Know that no difficult circumstance lasts forever; but after that you have suffered a while the God of all grace who  called you in Christ, will restore, strengthen and settle you. “To Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen (Psalm 34:191 Peter 5:10-11).

BELIEVERS’ NOTE

Brethren, placing our faith in the righteousness and faithfulness of God through trials, affliction, and heaviness, should bring praise, honour and glory at the end. Also, one may encounter the revelation of Jesus  Christ towards salvation and obtain spiritual growth toward a more perfect relationship with our Father God. Trust is established or renewed with every trial and faith is enhanced.

 PRAYER

Almighty God, thank you for your word; and for thy loving kindness towards thy children.

Gracious Father in heaven, lay this message deeply in the heart of thy people.

Holy Spirit inspire their hearts with love for thy power, and the wisdom in the word of God; and to yearn for Grace always.

May “the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen”.

“The Lord bless thee and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace” (2 Corinthians 13:14; Numbers 6:26).

I make this prayer in JESUS NAME.

Have a blessed Sabbath of peace.

Lots of Love, P. Schwartz (SOG), 26 August 2018.
