Brethren when you face trials for ‘righteousness sake,’ think first that the attack is “spiritual”, aimed at your God. A threat or reward may be held to seduce you, or provocation and murmur to goad you to succumb to the violation of your faith. Do not give in!
Also, ponder on the question posed by Jesus saying: “What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36). And reason that defending the righteousness of God is about your soul, which is greater than material needs.
Be mindful that idolatry trials may be subtle and disguised in societal norms, that may make things seem normal or celebratory such as the “golden calf”; or an invite to participate in a cult. Avoid any association that is unsupported by scripture.
In the face of threats, dispel all fear, and be resolute in faith like the three Hebrew men.
They resolved that whether God will deliver them or not, they will not serve strange gods nor worship the golden image. Do not negotiate for God.
“Do all things without murmurings and disputing”, striving or vainglory; but by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving make your requests unto the Lord. “Be anxious for nothing”! God knows your needs and will provide for them. (Philippians 2:3; 2:14; 4:6; 4:19).
Finally, encourage yourself with the testimonies of God, His glory and miracles, believe in His words, and trust in His power and grace to sustain you through all trials. Remember always that righteousness trials are about God not You.

Almighty God, thank you for your word.
We praise You Lord, for You are righteous in all your ways and Holy in all your works.
Dear Father, circumcise the hearts of Your Children with Your Spirit of Love.
Cause them to believe in your righteousness and trust in your power to save.
Assure them Lord of your unfailing love and mercy in Christ Jesus, “THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS”. I make this prayer in JESUS NAME.
