EXPRESSIONS OF FAITH V : FAITH BY WORKS

Moses’ faith may be likened to a religious faith in God been steep in the Judaic order to cry for help by the tabernacle door. The Woman at the well may have a religious faith and the gift of faith for salvation) because she believed in the tradition of Jacob’s well but converted to believe in Christ. The Man with Palsy had a faith in God for healing through Christ though, not necessarily by conviction in the messianic grace.

Please observe that it is possible to express ones faith to achieve a physical outcome such as healing or the miracle as with Moses and the Man.  However, the transformational result of the faith of salvation obtained by the Woman, like all believers in Christ is spiritual in effect, and therefore may not be immediately visible. If you have not already done so, brethren,  you should covet the gift of faith for salvation because it is mainly concerned with deliverance of the soul from bondage of sin and death unto eternal life, as opposed to addressing physical ailment or material needs.
