INTRODUCTION
We continue the series on selected biblical expressions of faith involving faith relationship with God, faith in challenge, ‘belief’ in faith, faith by works, negotiated faith, and relational faith. The series provides insight into the operation of the faith in God and guidance on how to develop or strengthen one’s faith in practice. The previous message examined ‘belief’ in faith expressions of Abraham, the Woman with the issue of blood and the Man born blind.
This message examines Faith by Works expressions involving Moses who gives water of life by works, the Woman at well who receives water of everlasting life and the Man sick with palsy works faith to healing. It provides analysis and suggestions on how to work by faith including justification for works by faith in spirit, belief in Christ as the work of God in faith and worship of God in Spirit and truth.
