INTRODUCTION
Lying is a common trait in mankind. It is difficult to find someone who has not told a lie. In fact, People tend to justify lying by placing it in categories of ‘black lies’ and ‘white lies. This series entitled ‘Agency of Lies’ reveals the ‘spirit’ behind lying. In nine parts, supported by biblical references, it demonstrates that lying is of the spirit of lies – It illustrates the spiritual manipulation behind mankind’s disposition towards lying to keep one in the bondage to the agency of Satan. The agency of lies keeps one from enjoyment of the liberty that God has restored to mankind through Jesus Christ. This first Part examines the foundation of lying and death and Satan the “Father of Lies”.
