INTRODUCTION
The previous message examined faith in challenge, involving the faith expressions of David winning in God’s name, Jehoshaphat praising to victory and Paul’s faith passions to save. It is part of the series examining selected biblical expressions of faith including faith relationship with God, ‘belief’ in faith, faith by works, negotiated faith, relational faith, and humble faith, aiming to provide insight into the operation of the faith in God.
This message looks at ‘Belief’ in Faith focusing on the three faith expressions involving Abraham, believing in hope against hope, the Woman with the issue of blood is sanctified by faith and the Man born blind believes in the ‘light of the world’. It provides some analysis and guidance on how to make ‘belief’ in faith including discerning a belief structure, aligning thoughts, words, and actions, enhancing courage righteousness, and the importance of belief for salvation grace.
